We like dogs too! I keep meaning to put a sign on our door that says “animal and bike friendly” This is Sprocket who came to visit from Philly. Sprocket was horrible at making buttons, but great with customer service!

Fergus is one of my new favorite zines! This new issues is the “fanzine” issue. It’s a zine of things that Fergus is a fan of, get it? Apparently Fergus really like pineapples as well as looking like shit, being a hermit, the Perth Zine Fair, letters and post, bitter grudges, and a bunch of other stuff. There are also really cute comics that illustrate conversations with Fergus and Basil… Fergus and Basil sounds like a children’s show, doesn’t it? This thick zine is some tiny fraction of an Australian paper size that is perfect to put in your pocket and amuse yourself when the world around you gets boring.

Sometimes I think my favorite zines are ones that are like letters from friends, this zine feels like that.

I’m back from L.A. Zine Fest!

I had a great time at the L.A. Zine fest. Having a zine fest in Southern California in February is great! I got to get out of the Portland gloom for a bit and I had a pizza picnic with zine friends on grass that wasn’t wet!

I came back with some new zines and I’m getting them in the catalog as fast as possible. I also added a bunch of new patches and I’ve been cranking out ! When’s the last time you checked out the Portland Button Works website?
